Intercollege Enrollment

A student enrolled at McMurry University may also enroll in courses at either Abilene Christian University, Hardin-Simmons University, or Acadeum Course Share for the purpose of alleviating schedule conflicts. Courses taken through intercollege enrollment count toward degree requirements provided approval has been secured in advance from the student’s academic advisor, Department Head, Registrar’s Office, and Student Billing Office.

Courses taken through intercollege enrollment are considered a part of a regular semester’s work, and grades are averaged with courses taken at McMurry. Courses taken through intercollege enrollment are included in calculating eligibility for the Dean’s List and the Dean’s Honor Roll, as well as probation and suspension status.

Students who enroll in the intercollege program assume responsibility for the charges incurred at participating institutions. Federal financial aid regulations dictate that no more than one fourth of hours attempted may be completed at other than the home institution. Courses may only be attempted once by intercollege enrollment.
