ACCT 5360 - Contemporary Issues in Accounting TheoryGR Credit Hours: 3
This course uses the conceptual framework as a basis for developing accounting standards. Students will examine recent and proposed changes to standards as well as case studies applying the standards. Topics may include lease accounting, accounting for income taxes, postretirement benefits or revenue recognition, and may change annually. This course is taken during the final semester of the Master of Accountancy degree program.
Prerequisites: Admission to the Master of Accountancy program. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
