Survey of Western European and non-European art history from Pre- historic to Gothic: painting, sculpture, architecture, and decorative art forms typical of each period - and their artistic significance - as records of the spiritual and social evolution of hu- mankind. Image-based lectures, discussions, quizzes, exams, DVD’s/videos, field trips to museums and galleries.
