This is a required course for majors in Biomedical Science. An introduction to the morphology, physiology, genetics, growth, pathogenicity, and control of microbes, and also immunological interactions between microbes and man.

Prerequisites: BIOL 1306, BIOL 1106, and eight hours of Chemistry.
