ARTS 4360 - Brand & Identity DesignUG Credit Hours: 3
This course is designed to explore the principles and techniques of brand and identity design for corporate and small business purposes. It is an advanced, two-part course specifically tailored for Graphic Design majors. In Part 1, students will delve into digital illustration, focusing on logo design, typography, page layout, advertising design, and corporate identity package creation. This course will provide a comprehensive understanding of the visual elements that contribute to effective brand communication. Part 2 of the course will shift the focus to personal brand development, emphasizing the creation of an individual identity package, web design, and a print portfolio. This is a Capstone course that will equip students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to excel in the field of graphic design, particularly in the realm of brand and identity design for both corporate and small business clients.
